uPVC door lock replacement

A uPVC multipoint door lock replacement will cost between £45- £90 for the multipoint and a Euro cylinder if needed, plus the price of the labour if the door has broken in the locked position the additional time to get the door open has to be factored in so the average Cost £120-£140 in total (includes labour) unlike other Nottingham locksmiths we only supply branded replacement parts and come with a full parts and labour warranty as standard. Higher labour charges may be incurred for evenings and weekends.

Including labour, the cost of replacing a single Euro cylinder in a uPVC door will cost £70 if required additional locks are charged at £20 per lock with no extra labour (2x locks £90 3x locks £110 and so on) we fit as standard the equivalent of a BS 1* Euro lock that includes features like Anti Snap, Anti pick, Anti Bump & Anti Drill. Unlike most other Nottingham locksmiths that charge the same or even more for budget low security low quality Euro locks our superior locks come with a long parts & labour warranty.

if you require 2* or 3* Euro locks additional charges per lock will apply.

Mortice lock replacement

The cost of a mortice lock is slightly more  then a Euro lock, a British Standard high security lock fitted including labour is £80. If you have internal mortice locks that are non BS a single one replaced including labour is just £60 - please note we will only supply and fit BS high security locks to external doors even if you have a non BS in we will insist that you upgrade so you complete with insurance criteria and security standards.

Key Extraction for Broken Key In Lock

If you ever accidentally snap your key in cylinder lock there is a very good chance that the key can be removed and as there is no damage to the lock its self then no replacement is needed, Broken key extraction starts from just £50 please bear in mind if you do not have a spare key to this lock you will require a new cylinder also if you require to gain entry after the key is extracted or you require this service in unsociable hours additional charges may be required.

To open a latch type lock

If you have lost your keys and need to gain entry the price to open a single latch type lock either internal or external starts from just £50.

To open a Upvc Lock or Composite Lock

If you have lost your keys and need to gain entry the price to open a single lock on either a Upvc door or composite door starts from just £70.

To open a Mortice Lock and Rim Lock

If you've lost your keys and need to gain entry the price of opening one standard mortice lock, as well as one standard rim lock starts from just £90.

Locksmith Labour Cost

The standard cost for our Nottingham locksmith labour charge is £40 per hour for on site or bench locksmith services not included in set charges - this includes new installations of locks. Labour charges may increase due to the hour of the day (evenings, nights & early hours) and weekends
